Technology of MEMS parts and Micronics systems has the ability to make drastic change in the life of human being.Employment of this technology in military fields, in addition to various trading fields has earned a stabilized status among developed and certain developing countries.This technology has emanated from that of microelectronic technology based on siliceous chips. Certainly it will be impossible for Iran to join the group of developed countries in future without treading the path experienced by the frontline countries developed in technology. Therefore, the key technology of microelectronics should be considered from a research, military and development rather than a merely trading perspective.Some investments have been made in semi-conductors in Iran during the past years. Such investment potential can be used as appropriate bedrock by creation of a unified scientific management.Removal of certain shortcomings and making optimal use of joint scientific cooperation between university and industry will make it possible to achieve proportional progress in this technology within a short period of time.
